We run a range of activities for young people during the week.

Girl Talk
Girl Talk is a group for young ladies between the ages of 11 to 18 years and runs on Thursday afternoons from 3.30-5pm in the lower ground hall.
The group provides a welcome, safe environment in which the young women can meet together to chat and discuss issues affecting their lives. They learn more about the Christian faith, are able to share their problems and concerns and receive prayer support.
The group is primarily aimed at young women who have some connection to South Hill Church, but it is also a safe place for their friends and those who are interested in learning more about the Christian faith. -
Care Groups
Youth care groups are an opportunity to socialise together, play games and support each other in our relationships with God. They meet on the second and fourth Sunday of each month. Years 7 and 8 meet at Paul and Claire's house from 7pm. Years 9 and 10 meet at Damon and Theresa's house from 7pm. Year 11+ meet at Sorrel and Neil's house from 7:30pm. Youth Worship
We are passionate about seeing young people engaging with and worshiping God. Youth worship nights happen once a month and are an opportunity to come together and worship in a variety of ways including dance, music, art etc.
Sundays
Church starts at 10.30am with a time of all age worship. At 10.55am the children and youth leave the main church for their separate activities.
Ignite is the discipleship programme for young people of secondary school age at South Hill Church and meets in the Coffee lounge.
Our aim is to provide activities and an environment where we see:
- Young people who know and love God.
- Young people who love one another and have a heart for serving others.
- Young people who stand firmly on the truth of the gospel: knowing what they believe and knowing how to live the Christian faith.
- Young people filled with the Spirit, who inspires, guides and empowers them.
- Young people who want to build God's Kingdom and see others saved.
To achieve these aims we provide a balanced programme of worship, teaching, discussion, games, and group activities as well as other events and residential trips.
