We are passionate about supporting families in our local community through our purpose-built Young Discoverers Pre-school and mid-week Squealers toddler groups.

Young Discoverers Pre-school
Young Discoverers Pre-school - Monday to Friday Young Discoverers Pre-school, based in our purpose-built Early Years Centre, provides a first-class learning experience for young children before they attend school. It consists of ten weekly sessions during term time for children from two and half years to rising fives. Young Discoverers holds a ‘Good’ OFSTED report and is also a member of the Pre-school Learning Alliance. It has attained the Herts Quality Standard bench. Squealers Toddler Group aged 0-3
Squealers parent/carer and toddler group is held twice a week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays during term time. It is for children up to three years old. Squealers provide a safe, stimulating environment where children can play and parent/carers can relax and make friends. It also provides opportunity for our committed team to draw alongside and provide encouragement, care and support. Regular activities include singing with the children and craft. Refreshments and coffee are provided during the session.
Sundays
If you are joining us for the first time with a young family, one of our Welcome Team will explain the various children and youth activities we have to offer. If you are happy for your children to join one of the activity groups, one of our Welcome Team will offer to introduce to you a relevant crèche, children or youth team leader. All our children and youth workers are DBS checked and competent at settling in new children. However you are welcome to stay with your child for a while if they need reassurance.

Family Creche
Creche is for 0-3 year olds and takes place from 11am-12 noon. It is a place for the children to play and carry out craft activities. Creche and Mini's join together for the last 15 minutes of a session for worship, drink and snack time. -
Minis aged 3-4
Minis takes place on a Sunday morning from 11am-12 noon for children aged 3-4. Creche and Minis join together for the last 15 minutes of a session for worship, drink and snack time. Minis and Midis follow the same teaching programme. -
Midis aged 5-7
Midis takes place on a Sunday morning from 11am-12 noon for children aged 5-7. Minis and Midis follow the same teaching programme.
